Welcome to Lincoln ...So far, we found very little information about Lincoln. The little that we've found leads us believe that the community is historic.<1> We've added Lincoln to our Gazetteer with the hope that we can develop more information. We would especially like to find the location of Lincoln - knowing its coordinates, we can explore things like its relationship to neighboring communities, nearby cemeteries, etc. If you can help us with Lincoln, please Contact Us. While we don't have the exact location of Lincoln , we believe that it would have been located within present day Delaware County<2>. While we don't have a date for the founding of Lincoln, you might consider that their post office opened in 1846. When the people of Lincoln referred to themselves (known as a demonym), they are believed to have used Lincolnite<3> Time Zone: The area where Lincoln was located is in the Eastern Time Zone (EST/EDT) and observes daylight saving time If Lincoln still existed, it would have been in the (740) area code. Communities Also Named Lincoln ...While we believe that this Lincoln is located in Delaware County, we know of another 2 Ohio communities named Lincoln. Those communities are located in the following counties: Gallia and Richland County.
