Welcome to Frisco ...

So far, we found very little information about Frisco. The little that we've found leads us believe that the community is historic.<1>

We've added Frisco to our Gazetteer with the hope that we can develop more information. We would especially like to find the location of Frisco - knowing its coordinates, we can explore things like its relationship to neighboring communities, nearby cemeteries, etc. If you can help us with Frisco, please Contact Us.

While we don't have the exact location of Frisco , we believe that it would have been located within present day Guernsey County<2>.

While we don't have a date for the founding of Frisco, you might consider that their post office opened in 1898.

Time Zone: The area where Frisco was located is in the Eastern Time Zone (EST/EDT) and observes daylight saving time

Communities Also Named Frisco ...

Using our Gazetteer, we found that there are 22 communities that are also named Frisco - they are located in Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas (2), Colorado, Idaho, Illinois, Kansas, Louisiana (2), Missouri, New Mexico (2), North Carolina, Oklahoma (2), Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia and West Virginia.

Adding Frisco to Our Gazetteer ...

The earliest source we've referenced which mentioned Frisco was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<3>

From that list, the Frisco post office opened in 1898.

We also found Frisco on a map titled George#&160;F. Cram Map (1901).
