Welcome to Elm ...So far, we found very little information about Elm. The little that we've found leads us believe that the community is historic.<1> We've added Elm to our Gazetteer with the hope that we can develop more information. The location of Elm has been provided by the Geographic Names Information System (ie- the GNIS).<3> While we don't have a date for the founding of Elm, you might consider that their post office opened in 1892. While the community is gone, the present day location for Elm is 880 feet [268 m] above sea level.<4>.
