So far, we found very little information about Doylestown. The little that we've found leads us believe that the community is historic.<1>

While we don't have the exact location of Doylestown , we believe that it would have been located within present day Paulding County<2>.

The pronunciation of Doylestown: DOY-lz-town<3>

While we don't have a date for the founding of Doylestown, you might consider that their post office opened  in 1851.

Time Zone: The area where Doylestown was located is in the Eastern Time Zone (EST/EDT) and observes daylight saving time

Using our Gazetteer, we found that there are two Ohio communities named Doylestown: This one is located in Paulding County and the other is located in Wayne County.

From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Doylestown was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<5>

From that list, the Doylestown post office opened in 1851.
