Welcome to Crow ...

So far, we found very little information about Crow. The little that we've found leads us believe that the community is historic.<1>

We've added Crow to our Gazetteer with the hope that we can develop more information. We would especially like to find the location of Crow - knowing its coordinates, we can explore things like its relationship to neighboring communities, nearby cemeteries, etc. If you can help us with Crow, please Contact Us.

While we don't have the exact location of Crow , we believe that it would have been located within present day Hancock County<2>.

While we don't have a date for the founding of Crow, you might consider that their post office opened in 1838.

Time Zone: The area where Crow was located is in the Eastern Time Zone (EST/EDT) and observes daylight saving time

Communities Also Named Crow ...

Using our Gazetteer, we found that there are two Ohio communities named Crow: This one is located in Hancock County and the other is located in Belmont County.

Beyond Ohio, there are 13 communities that are also named Crow - they are located in Arkansas, California, Georgia, Kansas, Kentucky, Mississippi (2), Oregon, Tennessee, Texas (2) and West Virginia.

From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Crow was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<3>

From that list, the Crow post office opened in 1838.
