At the time of the 2010 Census, Bryan had a population of 8,545 people (which is 22.7% of the total population of Williams County). This makes Bryan the county's most populous community.

The population of Bryan represents 0.07% of the population of Ohio (which has 11,536,504 people), making it the state's 185th most populous community.

With a 2010 count of 8,545 people, the population of Bryan increased 2.54% from the 2000 Census (which had a count of 8,333 people).

We originally found mention of Bryan in both the FIPS-55 and the GNIS. For more information, see the FIPS and GNIS Codes sections on our Miscellaneous Page.

From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Bryan was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<9>

From that list, the Bryan post office opened in 1841.

We also found Bryan in the book titled U.S. Post Offices (Oct. 1846).
