While we don't have a date for the founding of Tivoli, you might consider that their post office opened  in 1831.

At the time of the 2010 Census, Tivoli had a population of 1,118 people. This makes Tivoli the county's 29th most populous community.

With a 2010 count of 1,118 people, the population of Tivoli decreased 3.87% from the 2000 Census (which had a count of 1,163 people).

From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Tivoli was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<6>

From that list, the Tivoli post office opened in 1831.

We also found Tivoli in the book titled U.S. Post Offices (Oct. 1846).
