From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Three Mile Bay was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<6>

From that list, the Three Mile Bay post office opened in 1830.

We also found Three Mile Bay in the book titled U.S. Post Offices (Oct. 1846).
