Taken from the 2019 Census Estimates, Barker had an population of 507 people. This is a decrease of 4.88% since the 2010 Census (or a decrease of 12.13% since the 2000 Census).

At the time of the 2010 Census, Barker had a population of 533 people. This makes Barker the county's 20th most populous community.

With a 2010 count of 533 people, the population of Barker decreased 7.63% from the 2000 Census (which had a count of 577 people).
