Welcome to Loma ...So far, we found very little information about Loma. The location of Loma has been provided by the Geographic Names Information System (ie- the GNIS).<3> While we don't have a date for the founding of Loma, you might consider that their post office opened in 1907. While the community is gone, the present day location for Loma is 4,350 feet [1,326 m] above sea level.<4> In other words, the elevation of Loma is about ¾ mile [or ~1¼ km] above sea level. Time Zone: The area where Loma was located is in the Pacific Time Zone (PST/PDT) and observes daylight saving time The location where Loma once stood is in the (775) area code.
