Welcome to Diamond ...

So far, we found very little information about Diamond. The little that we've found leads us believe that the community is historic.<1>

We've added Diamond to our Gazetteer with the hope that we can develop more information. We would especially like to find the location of Diamond - knowing its coordinates, we can explore things like its relationship to neighboring communities, nearby cemeteries, etc. If you can help us with Diamond, please Contact Us.

While we don't have the exact location of Diamond , we believe that it would have been located within present day Eureka County<2>.

Diamond was founded in 1874.

Time Zone: The area where Diamond was located is in the Pacific Time Zone (PST/PDT) and observes daylight saving time

Adding Diamond to Our Gazetteer ...

As we work on our Gazetteer, we occasionally find mention of a community that is new to us. When we find such a community, we add it to our Gazetteer with the hope of adding more information in the future.

The earliest source we've referenced which mentioned Diamond was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<3>

From that list, the Diamond post office opened in 1874.
