Welcome to Box Springs ...

So far, we found very little information about Box Springs. The little that we've found leads us believe that the community is historic.<1>

We've added Box Springs to our Gazetteer with the hope that we can develop more information. We would especially like to find the location of Box Springs - knowing its coordinates, we can explore things like its relationship to neighboring communities, nearby cemeteries, etc. If you can help us with Box Springs, please Contact Us.


While we don't have the exact location of Box Springs , we believe that it would have been located within present day Eureka County<2>.

While we don't have a date for the founding of Box Springs, you might get a feel for it by knowing that during our research the earliest mention that we found (so far) was in a book dated 1895.

Time Zone: The area where Box Springs was located is in the Pacific Time Zone (PST/PDT) and observes daylight saving time

Using our Gazetteer, we found that there are two Nevada communities named Box Springs: This one is located in Eureka County and the other is located in Nye County.

Beyond Nevada, there are 7 communities that are also named Box Springs - they are located in Alabama, Arkansas, California (2), Georgia and Montana.
