The location of Halls Peak has been provided by the Geographic Names Information System (ie- the GNIS).<3> While we don't have a date for the founding of Halls Peak, you might consider that their post office opened in 1887. While the community is gone, the present day location for Halls Peak is 7,570 feet [2,307 m] above sea level.<4> In other words, the elevation of Halls Peak is about 1½ mile [or ~2¼ km] above sea level.
