From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Berkshire Valley was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<4>

From that list, the Berkshire Valley post office opened in 1816.

We also found Berkshire Valley in the book titled U.S. Post Offices (Oct. 1846).
