Taken from the 2019 Census Estimates, Conway had an population of 10,241 people. This is an increase of 1.25% since the 2010 Census (or an increase of 19.03% since the 2000 Census).

At the time of the 2010 Census, Conway had a population of 10,115 people (or 21.15% of the total population of Carroll County). This makes Conway the county's most populous community.

The population of Conway represents 0.77% of the total population of New Hampshire (which has 1,316,470 people), making it the state's 29th most populous community.

With a 2010 count of 10,115 people, the population of Conway increased 17.56% from the 2000 Census (which had a count of 8,604 people).

We originally found mention of Conway in both the FIPS-55 and the GNIS. For more information, see the FIPS and GNIS Codes sections on our Miscellaneous Page.

From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Conway was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<7>

From that list, the Conway post office opened in 1804.

We also found Conway in the book titled U.S. Post Offices (Oct. 1846).
