While we don't have a date for the founding of Williamsville, you might consider that their post office opened  in 1867.

While the community is gone, the present day location for Williamsville is 1,120 feet [341 m] above sea level.<4>.

Time Zone: The area where Williamsville was located is in the Central Time Zone (CST/CDT) and observes daylight saving time

We originally found mention of Williamsville in the GNIS. For more information, see the Referenced GNIS Codes section on our Miscellaneous Page.

From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Williamsville was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<7>

From that list, the Williamsville post office opened in 1867.

We also found Williamsville in the book titled List of Post Offices in the United States (1870).
