Antioch would have been located within present day Sheridan County<2>.
While we don't have a date for the founding of Antioch, you might consider that their post office opened in 1891.
While the community is gone, the present day location for Antioch is 3,880 feet [1,183 m] above sea level.<3> In other words, the altitude of Antioch is about ¾ mile [or ~1¼ km] above sea level.

We originally found mention of Antioch in both the FIPS-55 and the GNIS. For more information, see the FIPS and GNIS Codes sections on our Miscellaneous Page.
From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Antioch was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<6>
From that list, the Antioch post office opened in 1891.
We also found Antioch in the book titled Business Atlas and Shippers' Guide (1895).
