Taken from the 2019 Census Estimates, Primrose had an population of 57 people. This is a decrease of 6.56% since the 2010 Census (or a decrease of 17.39% since the 2000 Census).

At the time of the 2010 Census, Primrose had a population of 61 people. This makes Primrose the county's 5th most populous community.

With a 2010 count of 61 people, the population of Primrose decreased 11.59% from the 2000 Census (with a count of 69 people).

We originally found mention of Primrose in both the FIPS-55 and the GNIS. For more information, see the FIPS and GNIS Codes sections on our Miscellaneous Page.

From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Primrose was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<7>

From that list, the Primrose post office opened in 1903.

We also found Primrose mentioned on a train schedule titled Union Pacific Railroad Time Tables (September 1924).
