Welcome to Plano ...
So far, we found very little information about Plano. The little that we've found leads us believe that the community is historic.<1>
We've added Plano to our Gazetteer with the hope that we can develop more information. We would especially like to find the location of Plano - knowing its coordinates, we can explore things like its relationship to neighboring communities, nearby cemeteries, etc. If you can help us with Plano, please Contact Us.
While we don't have the exact location of Plano , we believe that it would have been located within present day Keith County<2>.
While we don't have a date for the founding of Plano, you might get a feel for it by knowing that during our research the earliest mention that we found (so far) was on a map dated 1895.
Time Zone: The area where Plano was located is in the Mountain Time Zone (MST/MDT) and observes daylight saving time
The location where Plano once stood is in the (308) area code.

Using our Gazetteer, we found that there are 14 communities that are also named Plano - they are located in Alabama, California, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas (2), Kentucky, Minnesota, Missouri, Ohio, South Dakota and Texas.
