So far, we found very little information about Lewellen. The little that we've found leads us believe that the community is historic.<1>

While we don't have the exact location of Lewellen , we believe that it would have been located within present day Keith County<2>.
While we don't have a date for the founding of Lewellen, you might get a feel for it by knowing that during our research the earliest mention that we found (so far) was on a map dated 1895.
Time Zone: The area where Lewellen was located is in the Mountain Time Zone (MST/MDT) and observes daylight saving time
Lewellen would have been located in the (308) area code.

Using our Gazetteer, we found that there are two Nebraska communities named Lewellen: This one is located in Keith County and the other is located in Garden County.
