While we don't have the exact location of Empire , we believe that it would have been located within present day Fillmore County<2>. While we don't have a date for the founding of Empire, you might consider that their post office opened in 1871. Time Zone: The area where Empire was located is in the Central Time Zone (CST/CDT) and observes daylight saving time If Empire still existed, it would have been in the (402) & (531)<3> area codes.
