While we don't have the exact location of Ash Grove , we believe that it would have been located within present day Franklin County<2>.

The earliest source we've referenced which mentioned Ash Grove was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<3>

From that list, the Ash Grove post office opened in 1875.

We also found Ash Grove in the book titled Business Atlas and Shippers' Guide (1895).
