From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Shaw was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<5>
From that list, the Shaw post office opened in 1950.
We also found Shaw mentioned on a train schedule titled Canadian National Railroad Time Tables (October 1960).
