From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Mount Victory was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<5>

From that list, the Mount Victory post office opened in 1900.

We also found Mount Victory on a map titled Rand McNally Map of Kentucky (1911).
