From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Northbrook was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<8>

From that list, the Northbrook post office opened in 1923.

We also found Northbrook mentioned on a train schedule titled Greyhound Bus Time Table (November 1931).
