From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Dietrich was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<9>

From that list, the Dietrich post office opened in 1909.

We also found Dietrich mentioned on a train schedule titled Union Pacific Railroad Time Tables (September 1924).
