Welcome to Warhill ...

So far, we found very little information about Warhill. The little that we've found leads us believe that the community is historic.<1>

We've added Warhill to our Gazetteer with the hope that we can develop more information. We would especially like to find the location of Warhill - knowing its coordinates, we can explore things like its relationship to neighboring communities, nearby cemeteries, etc. If you can help us with Warhill, please Contact Us.

While we don't have the exact location of Warhill , we believe that it would have been located within present day Dawson County<2>.

While we don't have a date for the founding of Warhill, you might consider that their post office opened in 1899.

Time Zone: The area where Warhill was located is in the Eastern Time Zone (EST/EDT) and observes daylight saving time

If Warhill still existed, it would have been in the (706) and (762)<3> area codes.

The earliest source we've referenced which mentioned Warhill was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<4>

From that list, the Warhill post office opened in 1899.

We also found Warhill on a map titled Rand McNally Map of Georgia (1911).
