From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Walnut Hill was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<7>

From that list, the Walnut Hill post office opened in 1888.

We also found Walnut Hill on a map titled Shell Oil Road Map for Florida (1956).
