So far, we found very little information about Robinson. The little that we've found leads us believe that the community is historic.<1>
We've added Robinson to our Gazetteer with the hope that we can develop more information. While we don't have the exact location of Robinson , we believe that it would have been located within present day Summit County<2>.
While we don't have a date for the founding of Robinson, you might consider that their post office opened in 1881.

The earliest source we've referenced which mentioned Robinson was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<3>
From that list, the Robinson post office opened in 1881.
We also found Robinson in the book titled Business Atlas and Shippers' Guide (1895).
