Teller County was founded March 23, 1899. Teller was created by taking area from El Paso and Fremont Counties. From the Census Estimates for 2019, <1> Teller had a population of 25,408 people. This is an increase of 8.81% since the last Census (which gave a population of 23,350 people in 2010). At the time of the 2010 Census, Teller represented 0.46% of the total population of Colorado.
