The location of Lena has been provided by the Geographic Names Information System (ie- the GNIS).<3> While we don't have a date for the founding of Lena, you might consider that their post office opened in 1906. While the community is gone, the present day location for Lena is 780 feet [238 m] above sea level.<4>. Time Zone: The area where Lena was located is in the Central Time Zone (CST/CDT) and observes daylight saving time If Lena still existed, it would have been in the (501) area code.
