Welcome to Hub ...So far, we found very little information about Hub. The little that we've found leads us believe that the community is historic.<1> We've added Hub to our Gazetteer with the hope that we can develop more information. The location of Hub has been provided by the Geographic Names Information System (ie- the GNIS).<3> While we don't have a date for the founding of Hub, you might consider that their post office opened in 1895. While the community is gone, the present day location for Hub is 690 feet [210 m] above sea level.<4>. Time Zone: The area where Hub was located is in the Central Time Zone (CST/CDT) and observes daylight saving time Hub would have been located in the (256) and (938)<5> area codes.
